Development of learning package on renewable energy technology using virtual instructional aides to enhance competency of students in bachelor of technology
Abstract:
This research presents the development of learning package on renewable
energy technology using virtual instructional aids to enhance competency of students in
bachelor of technology. The research methodology begins with studying the problem
of teaching and learning, studying the conceptual framework for developing the
instructional model, developing the RESPA Model, which has 5 steps: Realization,
Essential content, Summary, Proving, and Assessment. The research tools were learning
management plan, teacher manuals, visual instruction aids and objective test. Then,
it was used to implement with a sample of 26 undergraduate students, program in
electrical technology, Muban Chombueng Rajabhat University. The results showed
that 1) the research tools created were appropriate at a highest level, 2) the RESPA
model of learning package, had efficiency equal to 1.22 which is in accord to the
standard criteria of Meguigans's formula, the score of the posttest was significantly higher
than that of the pretest when comparing the learning progress at the .05 and the
students was highly satisfied, and 3) the evaluation of the learning competency of
students studying with the developed learning package had an average of 75.72
percent, according to the assumption of 75 percent.
