Abstract:
This research is a cross-sectional analytic study aimed at exploring opinions on the operation and management of graduate studies, focusing on service processes and procedures, service staff, facilities, and service outcomes, with the goal of developing improved practices for the Graduate Studies Office at the Faculty of Political Science and Law, Burapha University. Data were collected from a sample of 87 graduate students from the Faculty of Political Science and Law at Burapha University between April and July 2024. The findings revealed that the majority of the sample were female (64 .4%) and male (35.6%), with an age range of 20 to 30 years (81.6%). Most participants were not engaged in other professions (58.6%) and had 1 to 5 years of work experience (58.6%). The majority were pursuing a Masters degree in Political Science (54%) and were in their second year of study (55.2%). In terms of the frequency of using graduate services, most had used the service once (36.8% ) Regarding expectations of the quality of graduate services, the average ratings were as follows: Service Staff (Mean = 4 . 26, SD = 0 . 604), Service Outcomes (Mean = 4.22, SD = 0.621), Service Processes and Procedures (Mean = 4.17, SD = 0.507), and Facilities (Mean = 4.06, SD = 0.696), with an overall expectation mean of 4.17 (SD = 0.569). Opinions on the quality of these services were rated higher, with Service Outcomes (Mean = 4.69, SD = 0.222) being the highest, followed by Service Staff (Mean = 4.38, SD = 0.224), Service Processes and Procedures (Mean = 4.33, SD = 0.191), and Facilities (Mean = 4.19, SD = 0.401), resulting in an overall opinion mean of 4.28 (SD = 0.155). The study also identified that different factors significantly impacted expectations of service quality, such as age (41 50 years), work experience (11 15 years), and the pursuit of a Masters degree in Public Administration. Additionally, overall expectations were positively correlated with opinions on all aspects of service, including Facilities (r = 0.961), Opinion on Facilities (r = 0.598), Opinion on Service Outcomes (r = 0.475), and Overall Opinion (r = 0.775). Based on these findings, it is recommended that the Graduate Studies Office enhance its facilities by providing up-to- date and sufficient technological equipment, such as computers and electronic media, to facilitate information retrieval. Moreover, maintaining cleanliness in the service areas will improve the overall convenience for users
