Abstract:
The objectives of this study were to 1) examine the components and approaches of innovative leadership; 2) establish a model for innovative leadership development; and 3) assess the model for innovative leadership development. The research was divided into three steps. The first step was to investigate the components and approaches of innovative leadership. The sample included 205 Northern administrators from Private Vocational Colleges and five experts who were subjected to an exploratory inquiry, a confirmatory factor analysis, and interviews. The second step was to create a conceptual framework for constructing the model utilizing the information acquired in step one, and queries from five experts, ensuring that the initial model was adequate. The final step was to interview 43 Northern administrators from Private Vocational Colleges to assess the model's feasibility and practicability for innovative leadership development. The research instruments were mean, percentage, standard deviation, Confirmatory Factor Analysis, and content analysis. According to the research findings, 1) innovative leadership consisted of the following seven positive components: Vision for Change; Teamwork; Creativity; Participation; Social Learning Environment Building; Risk Management; and Innovative Organization's Atmosphere. This agreed with the empirical data. There are guidelines for developing innovative leadership. Using the quality management process (PDCA) and three innovative leadership development methods: Method 1: Self-development-based training planning, and Which included strategies for training the capacity to think, challenge to act; Method 2: Interaction with others to develop information and communication skills; and Method 3: Work experience-based development, and practice critical thinking and instructional approaches. 2) An overall model for innovative leadership development. The constructed model consisted of three parts: Components of Innovative Leadership, Guidelines for Developing Innovative Leadership, and Success Factors in Developing Innovative Leadership. and 3) Results of the evaluation of innovative leadership development models. Overall, it is possible and useful. at the highest level.
