Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to study 1) the level of opinions on happiness at work. 2) the level of opinions on work efficiency., and 3) the relationship between happiness at work and work efficiency of administrative officer, administrative office at office of public prosecution in a region. The population were 360. The quantitative research. The questionnaire used as research instruments was 5 -level estimation scale which were divided into 3 parts: 1) three items of general information of the respondents 2) twenty-eight items of happiness at work 3) sixteen items of work efficiency. Statistics measures used are frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearsons correlation coefficient. The results of this study found that 360 people answering questionnaires; 153 (42.50 %) of people were aged within 31-40 years old, 130 (36.10 %) had period of work within 1-5 year, and 136 (37.80 %) had monthly income within 20,001-30,000 baht. The overall of happiness at work was in high level. When considering each aspect, the average of 8 dimensions at a high level from highest to lowest; happy family, happy heart, happy soul, happy society, happy brain, happy relax, happy money, happy body. The overall of work efficiency was in high level. When considering each aspect, the average of 4 dimensions at a high level from highest to lowest; costs, time, quality, quantity. Furthermore, the results revealed that happiness at work related to work efficiency of administrative officer at high the correlation coefficient at level 0.85 at significant level of 0.01.
