Abstract:
Growth mindset enable students learn from every situation and develop themselves to achieve their goals and always learn the new things.The purposes of this experimental research study were to: 1) develop the group activities for developing elementary students growth mindset at Nakhonnayok Province 2) study the effectiveness of the group activities for elementary studentsgrowth mindset.The sample was 100elementary students in Nakhonnayok Provinceusing simple random technique.The control and experimentalgroup were randomly assigned with 50students in each group. Data was collected using the Growth Mindset test, and the behavior for change in growth mindset test. The data were analyzed through mean(x)and standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test statistics.The research results were as follows: 1) The group activities consisted of 3stages: Initial stage, working stage, and concluding stage with 12times and each activity was 90minutes.TheIndex of item-objective congruence(IOC)was 0.702) The students in experiment group gain significantly higher scores than students in control group at .05level. Moreover, it was also found that students in experiment group had significantly higherscores after implementing the group activities at .05significantlevel. The group activities could develop the change in elementary students growth mindset.
