Abstract:
The research was to 1) study the academic administration situations in Salavan Teacher Training College, Laos. 2) Compare opinion level on the academic administration situations classified by gender and education qualification, in Salavan Teacher Training College, Laos 3) study the problem and directions for the development of academic administration according to the opinions of administrators and faculty members, Salavan Teacher Training College, Laos. A total of 126 samples were collected by random sampling. The research tool was a 5-level estimation questionnaire. The statistics used were mean, standard deviation.
The results revealed that
1. The opinions of administrators and faculty members, as a whole, was found at the high scale. When considering each components in descending order was internal supervision, teaching and learning management , curricula and curriculum implementation, measurement and evaluation , and visual aids respectively.
2. Opinion level comparations on the academic administration situations classified by gender and education qualification, overall and in every aspect were not different.
3. The problem of academic administration according to the opinions of administrators and faculty members, as a whole, there were problems in every component. And directions for the academic administration was right solving method in the right causes.
