Partial purification and decolourization of textile wastewater by dimethoxyphenol oxidase from Talaromyces sp. BC
Abstract:
In this study, characterization of partial purification of laccase from Talaromyces sp.
stain BC was reported the maximum activity was showed at 70 degrees, pH 11. In the precipitation
test, 80 percent saturation by acetone was highest activity (8.6 U/ml). Decolourization of crude
laccase observed at 72 h at 70 degrees and room temperature was 55.48 percent and 22.37 percent respectively.
This study, laccase from Talaromyces sp. stain BC is able to decolourize textile wastewater
and could be of applied to controlling environmental pollution from textile industry.
