Abstract: In the digital era, this thesis rigorously examines the factors that sway Generation Z's adoption of cashless payment systems in Vietnam. It aims to discern the determinants shaping this demographic's propensity towards such financial technologies and to devise a theoretical model that can elevate their acceptance rate. The research adopted a meticulous methodological framework, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data collection techniques. This was exemplified by a survey that produced 310 responses, providing a solid empirical basis to validate the proposed model. The scope of the study involved a critical analysis of literature pertaining to cashless transactions and Gen Z consumer patterns, with a focus on authoritative sources from 2000 to the current day. The quantitative data from the survey yielded insights into the attitudes and behaviors of Gen Z towards cashless payments in Vietnam. In conducting this research, the investigator's skills were significantly sharpened, particularly in the realms of literature selection, data amalgamation, and analytical deduction. These enhanced capabilities led to the development of a theoretically robust and empirically substantiated research model
