Abstract:
This research aimed to study business laws related to the operation of small-scale coffee shops. The research was a qualitative study by using document analysis. This research found that; 1) the Civil and Commercial Code: sole proprietorships and ordinary partnerships. In a sole proprietorship, the founder and investor are the same individual and bear unlimited liability. An ordinary partnership involves two individuals investing money, property, and labor, also with unlimited liability; 2) the Revenue Code: paying taxes is a problem faced by sole proprietors regarding document collection and tax calculations; 3) the Signboard Tax Act: the owner lacks understanding about tax form and the regulations are not adequately publicized by the public sector; 4) the Building Control Act: the owner does not apply for permission to building usage, which is illegal; 5) the Copyright Act B.E. 2537: the owner needs to know about copyright infringement to prevent the problem that will follow; 6) the Commercial Registration Act; there is a lack of understanding in the commercial registration process and the preparation of document used for processing; 7) Labor Laws: the owner often overlooks the significance of treating their employees.
