Abstract:
These are the main purposes of this research; 1) to study and analyze the context, problem conditions, necessity, and theoretical concepts concerning the process of developing religious heirs to preserve Buddhism according to modern science; 2) to study and analyze the principles of Buddhist peaceful means that contribute to the process of developing religious heirs to preserve Buddhism; 3) to develop and present the process of developing religious heirs to preserve Buddhism through Buddhist peaceful means of Wat Dhammamongkol Thaobunnonthavihara Bangkok It is a research and development (R&D) tool according to the nine stages ladder research method was applied to this research.
The research results were found that:
1. Problems and conditions of religious heirs found that: Religious heirs are reduced in number, lack of self-confidence, education system, assertiveness, lack of leadership, inability to set goals in life, lack of enthusiasm for learning, excessive external stimuli, lack of responsibility in his duties as a religious heir, too many general education subjects and Dhamma subjects caused results that novices did not have time to practice and develop themselves in other areas, and sorts of structural problems.
2. The principles of Buddhist peaceful means that contribute to the development of religious heirs to preserve Buddhism were found that the principles of Buddhist peaceful means that could solve internal problems by the Balā 5 (five power principles) which consists of: 1) Faith (Confidence) 2) Effort 3) Mindfulness 4) Concentration 5) Wisdom, using the four training principles as a result, consists of physical training, moral training, mental training, and wisdom training with the threefold principle as indications.
3. The process of developing religious descendants to preserve Buddhism through Buddhist peaceful means found that the ICP process consists of 3 steps 1) the Motivational stage (Inspiration) 2) joint procedures (Collaboration) 3) the Creation process for presentation (Production) with the 6 areas of development which are, life skills, Motivation and goals in life, inner peace, Buddhist peaceful means, communication and propagation of Buddhism, the prototype of the religious heir.
