Abstract: การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีการใช้ภาษาในนวนิยายวาย และศึกษาภาพสะท้อนสังคมในนวนิยายวาย ด้านกลวิธีการใช้ภาษาศึกษากลวิธีการใช้คำ และกลวิธีการใช้ภาพพจน์ ส่วนการศึกษาภาพสะท้อนสังคมจะศึกษาในด้านครอบครัว ด้านการศึกษา ด้านอาชีพ ด้านฐานะทางสังคม และด้านความรัก ผู้วิจัยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากนวนิยายวายออนไลน์ที่ได้รับการตีพิมพ์รวมเล่มจากสำนักพิมพ์ต่าง ๆ ในช่วงปี พ.ศ. 2558-2559 ซึ่งเป็นช่วงเวลาที่นวนิยายวายได้รับความนิยม โดยคัดเลือกข้อมูลแบบเจาะจงจำนวน 10 เรื่อง ผลการวิจัยด้านกลวิธีการใช้ภาษาในนวนิยายวาย พบว่า กลวิธีการใช้คำในนวนิยายวาย มี 4 กลวิธี ได้แก่ กลวิธีการใช้คำเฉพาะกลุ่ม แบ่งเป็น 4 ลักษณะ กลวิธีการใช้คำแสดงอาการ แบ่งเป็น 7 ลักษณะ กลวิธีการใช้คำแสดงภาพหรือคำแสดงลักษณะ แบ่งเป็น 4 ลักษณะ และกลวิธี การใช้คำขยาย แบ่งเป็น 2 ลักษณะ ส่วนกลวิธีการใช้ภาพพจน์ในนวนิยายวาย พบการใช้ภาพพจน์ 5 ชนิด ได้แก่ การใช้ภาพพจน์อุปมา การใช้ภาพพจน์อุปลักษณ์ การใช้ภาพพจน์สัญลักษณ์ การใช้ภาพพจน์สัมพจนัย และการใช้ภาพพจน์อติพจน์หรืออธิพจน์ ด้านภาพสะท้อนสังคมในนวนิยายวาย พบภาพสะท้อนสังคมในนวนิยายวาย 5 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ ด้านครอบครัวปรากฎภาพสะท้อนสังคมเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ของสมาชิกในครอบครัวและการยอมรับตัวตนของสมาชิกในครอบครัว ด้านการศึกษาปรากฏภาพสะท้อนสังคมเกี่ยวกับระบบการศึกษา การเรียน และการดำเนินชีวิตในสถาบันการศึกษา ด้านอาชีพปรากฏภาพสะท้อนสังคมเกี่ยวกับอาชีพประจำและอาชีพเสริมพิเศษ ด้านฐานะทางสังคมปรากฏภาพสะท้อนสังคมด้านชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ ฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจการเงิน และด้านความรักปรากฏภาพสะท้อนสังคม ความรักที่แสดงความปรารถนาดี ความเสียสละ และความรักอย่างสมหวัง This research was aimed to study the language strategies used in Y novels as well as its social reflection. On the language strategies, researcher emphasized on the use of words and figure of speech. While on the social reflection aspect, researcher studied families, education, career, materialism and affection. Researcher gathered the information from online Y novels that had been published during 2015-2016 which was the time that Y novels was very popular from various publications. Ten novels were selected using purposive sampling method. On the language strategies aspect, the result of words strategies indicated that language strategies used in Y novels divided into 4 strategies which were terminology words, divided into 4 groups, expressive words, divided into 7 groups, signal words, divided into 4 groups and modifier words, divided into 2 groups. While on the figure of speech side, researcher found 5 types of it which were simile, metaphor, symbol, synecdoche and hyperbole. On the social reflection of Y novels, researcher found 5 reflections which consisted of 1) the family aspect that reflected on its internal relationship and the feeling of being acknowledge by the family members. 2) The educational aspect which reflected on the educational system as well as life in educational institute. 3) The career aspect, the novel reflected on both a routine job and part-time job. 4) The materialism, the novel reflected on habitations, vehicles, communication devices, technology and financial status. 5) The affection side, the novel reflected on the good intention, sacrifice and satisfaction of love.
