Abstract:
The main objective of this research was 1) to study wellness tourism potential in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, as a destination for international wellness tourism. 2) To study the behavior and demand of wellness tourism tourists in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. 3) To study the characteristics and activities to promote health wellness tourism in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. 4) To study the wellness tourism marketing mix in Hua Hin district, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. And 5) To establish guidelines for the development and promotion of wellness tourism in the Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan province. By using qualitative research with in-depth interviews, from The profession of informants in the relevant departments or representatives totals 20 persons. With quantitative research, data was collected with questionnaires from Thai tourists visiting Hua Hin, Prachuap Khiri Khan province (400 people). According to the results of in-depth interviews, it was found that Hua Hin District is the oldest seaside accommodation location. And is a district that has a famous tourist attraction in Prachuap Khiri Khan province, including history, culture, ancient sites, antiques, natural attractions, sea, waterfalls, forests and tourist attractions created to support the visits of both Thai and international tourists, and interest from government agencies to arrange it as a pilot area to promote wellness tourism. Therefore, it is held to be true that Hua Hin District is ready to develop its potential to be a wellness tourism destination. And it was found that overall, tourists had the highest opinion of the characteristics and activities wellness tourism. Food and Herbal Beverage tour, Spa and Thai massage tours, health sports tours, natural attractions tours and meditation tours It has the highest level of average. And it was found that, overall, tourists have opinions about the marketing mix. (10 Ps of Marketing Mix): Product, Price, Place (distribution channels), Promotion, People, Process, Physical Asset, Perception, Product integration, Promise and Policy aspects of the company, It has the highest level of average. The guidelines for the development and promotion of wellness tourism in the area of Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan province.
