Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the factors of readiness for business succession of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), 2) to study the success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), 3) to study the relationship between business succession readiness and success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and 4) to study the factors of readiness for business succession that affect the success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The sample group used in the study was small and medium enterprises in the manufacturing sector. Nonthaburi Province, 313 cases. The research tool was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis.
The results of the research were as follows : 1) the readiness for business succession of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) was at a high level (X ̅ = 4.10) consisting of entrepreneurial factors (X ̅ = 4.17) and business factors (X ̅ = 4.04), 2) the success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) was at a high level (X ̅ = 3.94), 3) the correlation between business succession readiness and the success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) was high (R = 0.90), and 4) the regression analysis of readiness for business succession that affects the overall success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) found that entrepreneurial factors and business factors affect the overall success of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) (R = 0.91) with statistical significance at the level of 0.05.
