Abstract:
The objectives of the research were 1) to develop exercises on word pronunciation
reading skill using brain-based learning management activities for the first-grade students to be
efficient according to the criterion of 80/80 and 2) to compare ability of word pronunciation
reading skills using brain-based learning management activities of the first-grade students.
The samples used in the research were 30 students studying in the firs grade in the second
semester in the academic year of 2021 for one classroom in Khueang Nai Charoenrat School,
Education Office 8, Khueang Nai 1, Khueang Nai District, Ubon Ratchathani Primary Educational
Service Area Office 1. They were randomized by cluster random sampling. The research instruments
were 7 exercises of word pronunciation reading skills using brain-based learning management
activities for the first-grade students, 2) a 3-multiple choice test with 30 items for measuring
ability of word pronunciation reading skills using brain-based learning management activities for
the first-grade students before and after learning with the difficulty between .5-.75, discrimination
between .2 5-.7 5, and the reliability of .71, and 3) 7 sets of learning management plans using
brain-based learning management activities for the first-grade students spending time to study for
2 hours per plan in Thai Education Department. The statistics used in the research were
percentage, mean, standard deviation, and an analysis to find the differences between before
and after learning by using t-test.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The efficiency of the exercises of the word pronunciation reading skills using brainbased learning management activities for the first-grade students that the researcher created was
82.05/81.11 which was higher than the criterion, 80/80, regulated.
2. The ability of the word pronunciation reading skills of the first-grade students using
brain-based learning management activities after learning was higher than that before learning
with the statistical significance at the level of .05.
