Abstract:
The objectives of this independent study were to investigate: 1) personal factors affecting teamwork effectiveness of support staff at Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (RMUTT), 2) the effect of job motivation on teamwork effectiveness of RMUTT support staff and 3) the effect of quality of work life on teamwork effectiveness of RMUTT support staff.
The sample group used in this study comprised 330 support staffs employed by RMUTT. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire. Statistical methods used to analyze the data were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and multiple regression analysis at a statistically significant level of .05.
The study results revealed that: 1) the differences in the personal factors of age, marital status, educational level, monthly income, and length of work demonstrated differences in teamwork effectiveness of support staff, 2) job motivation, in the dimensions of relatedness needs and growth needs, affected the teamwork effectiveness of support staff at a statistically significant level of .05, and 3) the dimensions of work life quality comprising adequate and fair compensation, potential development, social relationship, work management, and organizational pride demonstrated statistically significant effects on the teamwork effectiveness of RMUTT support staff at a level of .05.
