Abstract:
This independent study aimed to 1) study personnel management of Educational schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Yala area 2, 2) compare the differences of personnel management of schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Yala area 2 classified by genders, ages, experiences in the position and school sizes and, 3) process suggestions for personnel management of schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Yala area 2. The population of this study consisted of 226 school administrators and teachers, calculated by using the Krejcie and Morgan formulas. The research instrument was a questionnaire divided into 4 parts. The statistics for data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test and F-test. Schefes method was applied after the differences were found.
The study found that:
1.The overall level of the personnel management of schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Yala area 2 was high.
2.The comparison the of personnel management differences of schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Yala area 2 classified by genders and ages, the overall and individual aspects were not different. The variable as the position was significantly different at .001 level. Considering by school size variable, overall and individual aspects were not statistically significantly different.
3.Recommendations on the personnel management of schools under the Office of Primary Educational Service Yala area 2, namely, administrators should have a plan for manpower, appoint position, explicitly specify the duration, and solve the problems and weakness. Administrators should put a person in the position based on the needs of the schools requirements, appoint and transfer teachers in different cases according to the laws. Administrators should specify the framework of the personnel management for personnel. Administrators should have an internal cooperative and systematic supervision. There should be the supporting system for teachers to apply for an insignia and Chakrabarti Mala Medal. Teachers should be trained before being promoted. Teachers and educational personnel should be sustained and protected to avoid breaking a regimen. The complaint and the discipline performance should be reported to the office of educational services. There should be a record for the control of retirement and resignation. The schools should fire a person who is convicted by the court according to their guilts.
