Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to establish and determine the effectiveness index of the curriculum of using the Scientific Process Skills; by using experimental research for students in grade 5. 2) to study the effects of using the curriculum for promoting Scientific Process Skills. The research was conducted by using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample group included 20 students from Grade 5/2, second semester in the academic year 2021 of Arunothai School, Lampang province. The research tools were the syllabus, course manual, and the scientific process skills assessment form (Experimental skills). Data were analyzed by using statistics, percentages, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.
The research found that:
1. The using an experimental teaching method for Grade 5 students by using of Scientific Process Skills consisted of 7 elements: 1) Problem statement 2) The principles of the curriculum 3) Aims of curriculum 4) The content structures of the curriculum consisted of 2 units Physical change and Chemical change. 5) Activity 6) Materials Resources and Learning sources and 7) Measurement and evaluation the overall curriculum was at a good level. The curriculum manual was at an excellent level. The effectiveness of the curriculum was 0.7513
2. The average scientific process skill scores of students who attend the class had significantly levels higher than before at the .05
