The Prevention And Student And Management Through The Student Care And Support System Of Schools Under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office 35
Abstract:
The research conducted aimed at studying 1) the condition of administration regarding student prevention and assistance based on Student Care and Support Systems of Schools under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office 35 and
2) the possible solutions resolving issues found in the research findings following the same guideline as mentioned in. The samples consisted of 12 school administrators, 12 heads of School Student Care and Support Systems, 267 advisors for a total of 291 samples. The samples were classified using the stratified and purposive sampling according to the school size proportion. The instruments used for the data collection were a questionnaires and group discussions with 7 experts. The basic statistics was used in data analysis as well as content analysis, and analytic Induction.
The research results found.
1. The condition of the administration on the Student Care and Support systems within the secondary Education Service in the Area Office 35 was at a high level with a mean of 3.69. The statistic research findings also showed the problem on controlling and monitoring aspect was at the highest level with a mean of 3.74. The administrator role in supporting aspect with a mean of 3.71. The planning aspect with a mean of 3.70. Finally, the organization management aspect findings with a mean obtained of 3.64 respectively.
2. The solutions proposed according to the result of the investigation are contributing to the planning aspect; finding the cause of student issue from student individual analysis to plan the achievement goals proposal with the parents, the organization management aspect; focusing on participation between advisors, people involved to plan on pairing the students to help each other, the administrator role in supporting aspect; providing and allocation of facilities, budgets and resources, the controlling and monitoring aspect; monitoring and evaluation of students behavior change after participated in classroom activities and extracurricular activities.
