The purposes of this study were to 1) analyze a needs assessment for developing of budget management in New normal of School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Si Sa Ket Yasothon, 2) compare a needs assessment for developing of budget management in New normal of School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Si Sa Ket Yasothon classified by position, work experiences and school size, and 3) Study guidelines for improving budget management during New normal era. The samples used in the study consisted of 77 schools under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Si Sa Ket Yasothon and 12 schools with high level of external quality assessment. The instruments used were questionnaire and interview form. The statistics were mean, percentage, standard deviation, Need assessment (), t-test and F-test
The research findings were as follows 1) The level of a needs assessment for budget management development in New normal of School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Si Sa Ket Yasothon an overall is rated at high level. Financial management has the highest level of needs assessment, followed by the evaluation of finance and supplies, supplies and assets management and financial and accounting management, respectively. 2) A needs assessment for budget management development in New normal of School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Si Sa Ket Yasothon differs according to work experience, However, positions and school sizes do not show differences. 3) Guidelines for the development of school budget management in New normal is to use information technology for management. Complying with rules regarding assest management, as well as monitoring and evaluating performances for further development should be included.
