Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a model of participatory management that promotes motivation of personnel in private vocational schools; 2) to assess a model of participatory management that promotes strength, 3) to develop and evaluate a manual for the use of participatory management model that promotes employee motivation in private vocational schools; and 4) to test the model of participatory management that promotes employee motivation in private vocational schools. The research methodology is divided into 4 steps; 1) Development of a participatory management model that promotes motivation for the work of personnel in private vocational schools by synthesizing relevant documents and operational condition data by using interview form with 110 school administrators and teachers. The data were analyzed by using thematic analysis. 2) Assessment of a participatory management model that promotes motivation for the work of personnel in private vocational schools by drafting a model of participatory management that promotes motivation to work for personnel in private vocational schools and assess the feasibility and appropriateness of the management model from 10 school administrators and teachers. Data were analyzed by mean and standard deviation. 3) To develop and evaluate a manual for using the management model with a statistical significance. Participation that promotes motivation for the work of personnel in private vocational schools by analyzing the structural equation model (SEM). 4) An experimental model of participatory management that promotes employee motivation in private vocational schools by using the management model, its application, usefulness and correctness of the management model by using an assessment with an expert school administrator and 10 teachers
The results revealed that the participatory management model that promotes the work motivation of personnel in the newly created private vocational schools consisted of 1) Participation 2) Welfare and Morale, 3) Training 4) Love, unity, and Binding 5) Teamwork 6) Operation Efficiency and 7) Achieving the Vision, Objectives, and Goals affecting the promotion of motivation to work in two components: motivation factor and supporting factor, were appropriate to be applied appropriately to the educational institution context. The coherence of research models based on empirical data CMIN=4405.595, df=2362 CMIN/df=1.865, P=0.000, GFI=.935 AGFI=.936 CFI=.929 RMSEA=.049 RMR=.040 and CMIN/df=1.865. The trial and evaluation results of the manual of the participatory management model that promotes the work motivation of personnel in private vocational schools were at a very high level. The implementation assessment, usefulness, and validity of the model were at a very high level.
