The Efficiency of Secondary School Administrators Performance according to Cambodias School Director Standards in Battambang Municipality, Battambang Province, Cambodia

The result :
The objectives of this study were 1) to study the performance level of secondary school administrators according to the school director standards in the area of Battambang Municipality, Battambang Province, Cambodia. 2) to compare the opinions of school administrators and teachers on the efficiency performance of secondary school administrators according to school director standards in the area of Battambang Municipality, Battambang Province, Cambodia classified by position, qualification and work experiences. 3) To study recommendations on the performance of secondary school administrators according to the school director's standards in the area of Battambang Municipality, Battambang Province, Cambodia. The sample groups in this research were school administrators and teachers, totaling 274 people. The tools used for data collection were a 5-level estimation scale questionnaire and an open-ended questionnaire. The statistics used in the data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and content analysis.
The research finding indicated that:
1. The level of performance of secondary school administrators according to the school director's standard in the area of Battambang Municipality, Battambang Province, Cambodia, in overall was at a high level.
2. The result of the comparison of the opinions of school administrators and teachers affecting the performance of secondary school administrators according to school director standards in the area of Battambang Municipality, Battambang Province, Cambodia classified by positions, qualifications and work experiences, in overall was a statistically significant difference at the 0.01 level.
3. Recommendations on the performance of secondary school administrators according to school director standards in the area of Battambang Municipality, Battambang, Cambodia are as following: 1) School administrators should have extensive experiences in leading managing teaching and learning to be able to easily steering the school and teachers to achieving their goals and effectively providing educational services to students and the community. School administrators should have completed the principal training program and at least obtained a master degree. Moreover, school administrators should improve ITC skill as well as foreign languages for communication. 2) School administrators should have the ability to process the work of leadership, school management, and instructional leadership in order to develop the school and teaching more effectively. Not only does the school administrators need to develop the capacity alone, the director must also share and encourage his / her staff to develop their abilities as well. 3) School administrators should take his/her the time to guide and review the teacher's teaching methods in order to understand the needs as well as the teacher's requests for students' teaching and learning. School administrators should attend and lead the sharing session by attending meetings, sending teachers to workshops and inviting experts to share new knowledge with other teachers in their schools.
