The sample consisted of 260 administrators and teachers under the Office of the Suphan Buri Private Education Commission, derived by stratified random sampling as distributed by district. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and stepwise multiple regression.
The research results were as follows:
1. Overall and in specific aspects, the academic administration factor in private schools was at the highest level. The aspects with the highest level were learning management, school curriculum development, evaluation and credit transfer, and educational supervision. In specific aspects, the aspects with a high level were development of learning resources, research to improve education quality, and development and use of technological media for education, respectively.

The academic administration of private schools in the aspects of educational supervision (X4), development and use of technological media for education (X7), development of learning resources (X5), evaluation and credit transfer (X3), and learning management (X1) were factors affecting the effectiveness of private schools (Y ̂tot), respectively. They together predicted the school effectiveness at the percentage of 82.70 with statistical significance level of .05. The equation could be written as follows:
Y ̂tot = 0.33 + 0.28(X4) + 0.25(X7) + 0.14(X5) + 0.14(X3) + 0.12(X1).
