Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the conceptual framework of school administration; 2) to study the current general conditions, desirable conditions, and needs, 3) to assess the administration development model of charity schools within Buddhist monasteries per the Four Iddhipāda Dhamma in the Northeastern region, General Education Division. This study was conducted by means of mixed-method research. The samples included 244 administrators and teachers in the charity schools within Buddhist monasteries per the Four Iddhipāda Dhamma in the Northeastern region, General Education Division. The research tools included the assessment and interview forms. The statistics used in the data analysis were: Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and PNImodified.
The research results were as follows:
1) The results of the synthesis of the conceptual framework revealed four components of the administration development of charity schools in Buddhism in the northeastern region, general education division as follows: (1) personnel administration, (2) general administration, (3) budget administration and (4) academic administration and, 60 sub-items.
2) The study results of the current general conditions, desirable conditions, and needs of the administration development model of charity schools within Buddhist monasteries per the Four Iddhipāda Dhamma in the Northeastern region, General Education Division indicated that the current conditions were statistically rated at the moderate level. The most practical aspect was the academic administration. The desirable condition was overall rated at the highest level. The most practical aspect was the general administration. The needs were prioritized as follows: (1) personnel administration, (2) general administration, (3) budget administration, and (4) academic administration.
3) The assessment results of the administration development model of charity schools within Buddhist monasteries per the Four Iddhipāda Dhamma in the Northeastern region, General Education Division revealed that the models suitability, feasibility, and usefulness were evaluated at the highest level. So, this model can be used in the actual development.
