This study was procedure during December 2014 and July 2016. A camera trap technique was used to study abundance of dhole and their prey in the area. Scats of Dhole and Leopard were collected and fecal analyses to identify prey species were used. The results gained from camera trap that covered an area of 50 km2 , 1,500 trap nights totally, showed 0.6% relative abundance of Dhole in the area. The result also showed 21 potential species of prey based. The highest relative abundance was Barking Deer (34.27) following by Sambar Deer (29.87) and Wild Boar (14.20) and so on. Based on 134 the Dholes scats found 10 prey species. The frequency of occurrence of the prey base found that the highest 31.34% was Barking Deer followed by Large Indian Civet (30.60%),Sambar Deer (20.90%) respectivelyand so on. In case of the relative biomass consumed by Dhole found that the highest 39.92% was Sambar Deer followed by Wild Boar (18.79%), Barking Deer (17.03%). There was 78.17% of ungulate species consumed by Dhole totally. The relative number of prey consume found that 33.93% were Bird species followed by Rodent species (26.90%), Large Indian Civet (17.67%). The result also found that Dhole like to feed on Large Indian civet that did not depend on availability in the forest. Nevertheless the result found that the Dhole feed on Barking Deer, Sambar Deer and Wild boar depend on availability in the forest. The result base on 95 Leopards scats found 7 preys species. The highest frequency of occurrence, 57.89%, was Barking Deer followed by Large Indian Civet (26.32%),Sambar Deer (13.68%) and so on respectively. The highest relative biomass consumed, 39.54%, was Barking Deer following bySambar Deer (32.37%), Large Indian Civet (14.63%) and so on. There were 88.33% of ungulate species totally. The result point out that ungulate species wan the most important prey base of both Dhole and Leopard. Whereas the relative number of prey consumed by Leopard found that the highest, 48.93%, was Bird species followed by Barking Deer (19.61%), Large Indian Civet (19.35%) and so on. The Leopard like to feed on Large Indian Civet that did not depend on availability in the forest. The animal selected to feed on Barking Deer and Sambar Deer depended on availability in the forest and avoided to feed Wild Boar. In case of prey overlapping found that the Dhole and the Leopard had 89% prey overlapping whereas between the Dhole and the Tiger was 46% and between the Leopard and the Tiger was 37%. Further study and management for Dhole and their prey conservation were proposed in this study.
