Abstract:
The research entitled "Development of Health care monks in Nakhon Pathom Province" has three main objectives: 1) to study monk health care in Nakhon Pathom Province, 2) to develop monk health care activities in Nakhon Pathom Province, and 3) to analyze the patterns of monk health care in Nakhon Pathom Province. Mixed methods were conducted in this study. For quantitative research, data were collected in the administrative districts of each district of Nakhon Pathom, namely Bang Len district, Kamphaeng Saen district, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Chai Si district, Sampran district, Don Tum district, and Phutthamonthon district, totaling 1,328 sampling by opening a sampling table of Krejcie & Morgan obtained a sample of 302 sampling. For qualitative research, interviews with monks in Nakhon Pathom province with knowledge of health problems by using purposive sampling technique of 15 informants, along with a group session/focus group consisting of a group of monks who know about the problem of monks' health problems, a group of teachers who provide knowledge about monks' health problems, and a group of researchers who know monks' health problems, a total of 10 sampling and action research to educate the monks about the process of creating a model for monk health care in Nakhon Pathom province, 15 volunteers of monks in the region by selecting 1 out of 7 in Nakhon Pathom province. The basic statistical techniques such as percentage, mean (x̄) and standard deviation (SD) were employed for data analysis. To describe the data in the activities before and after the activity, the paired t-test was used.
The results showed that
1) For the study of the health care of monks in the area of Nakhon Pathom province, it was found that the health behavior of monks was at a moderate level, which was 3.06 considering the opinion level of monks who answered the questionnaire at a moderate level equal to 42.1 percent, and the lowest level, 8.6 percent. As for the development of activities for monks' health care in Nakhon Pathom Province, it was found that most monks assessed the activities at a high level, i.e., 3.96, considering the opinion of most monks who answered the questionnaire at a high level of 41.7 percent and a low level of 1.0 percent.
2) The results of the development of activities to care for the health of monks in the region of Nakhon Pathom province indicated that 15 participants both before and after participated in the activity. By comparing the paired t-test values before and after participating in the activities according to the activity measure 1-2, the details are different as follows, showing that within the activities, the monks have cooperated very well. The second temple model, the temple model for developing health activities before and after the temple, was different. Indicate that the activities were well performed, fun, stress-free, and relaxing. And provided knowledge of easily understood principles.
3) The results of the analysis of the monk health care model in Nakhon Pathom province revealed that the education of monks about the health of monks revealed the development of physical, moral, spiritual and Dhamma was one of the health treatments. The state of a complete person in physical, mental, and social, the care of the daily routine of monks can be done if they do not violate discipline, but most monks cannot, because monks cannot refuse food. Some people bring various offerings. Since they do not want to break discipline, a mindful and careful diet is very important. Make good health Knowing how to be careful, spiritual, and intellectual development, makes good health.
