Abstract:
This research was aimed; 1)to study the context of the economic development of the community, 2)to study the system and innovation of the economic development of the community, and 3) to develop a process of the economic development of the community, based on the social and cultural capital of the community in the lower northeastern regions, as Sisaket, Surin and Burriram province. Methodology: Qualitative research tools were used semi-structured form. Data collected from in-depth interview 99 key informants. Qualitative data were analyzed whereas preliminary results were critiqued by experts then synthesized thematic model was verified. The Results Findings As:
1. Background: Economic development process of the communities, emphasized on social and culture capitals in community. Issues of economic development process consist of capitals, such as belief, faith, awareness of people, family and community on the value and symbolic which was local wisdom, an intangible culture were realized.
2. Systems and innovation: Processing of the system development and innovation based on the model according to the capitals, natural resource is necessary for the properity and sustainableof subsistence economic development and exchanging traditional products. By using appropriate technology, while the government implemented policy and rule in area which was undercontrolled.
3. Developing of the process: 1)Temple was the center of spiritual development and brings wisdom of the community as a physical and mental refuge. The master of the community as a leader who is a representative of the same tribe. 2) Economy based on ritual. There is a belief that is performed through rituals in the way of life. 3)Natural resources are the main factor for development economic in communities.Discussions and Suggestions: Economic development based on social and cultural capital has consisted of necessary natural resource capitals for the prosperity and sustainability of subsistence economic development. and exchanging of traditional products were operated the economic development process of the community maintainly the identity, developed themselves, transition into the creative economy until it became Community Based Tourism (CBT.), bringing income and community was produced revenue-generating products.
