Abstract:
The purposes of this study were: 1) to investigate the Thai teenagers' public minds in their Z generation, 2)to analyze the Thai teenagers' behaviors on Buddhism-based public minds in their Z generation, as well as 3) to create the model designed for the Thai teenagers' behaviors on Buddhism-based public minds in their Z generation.
It was the qualitative research that focused on how were the causes and factors influencing the Thai teenagers' behaviors on their Buddhism-based public minds scrutinized. For research methodology, youth representatives living in Northern provinces used as key informants were carried out for data collection. The findings of the study were detailed as follows:
1. In terms of the Thai teenagers' behaviors on their public minds in the Z generation, it showed that the Thai teenagers' behaviors on their public minds were encouraged when studying in the lower secondary education level took places. In addition, the Thai teenagers' awareness of their public minds on not only helping their teachers' school works, but also devoting for their public activities was mostly found; moreover, the Thai teenagers' awareness of helping other neighbors, doing their housework, as well as looking after their younger brothers or sisters was supported. Also, the Thai teenagers' self-responsibilities, kindness, and public mindswere all educated by their parents;
2. In terms of the Thai teenagers' internal motivations or factors affecting their public minds, it was stated that their devotion, self-social responsibilities, and interpersonal respects were all resulted from their family's behavioral cultivation and
well-mannered characteristics, and
3. In terms of the typical model for the Thai teenagers' Buddhism-based public minds in their Z generation, it was suggested that the provision for the enhancement of the Thai teenagers' mental awareness and moralities be required for their public minds and self-responsibilities. Moreover, the Thai teenagers' no troubles such as their no selfishness, no corruption, and sympathy, etc. should be all supported for their social creativities, well-mannered disciplines, as well as charities.
