Abstract:
The research entitled The Development of Learning Management Manual Based on Sappurisa-dhamma for the Achievement of the Undergraduate Students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College consisted of 3 objectives as follows: 1) to develop the efficiency of learning management manual based on Sappurisa-dhamma for the undergraduate students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College according to the efficiency criterion of 80/80; 2) to compare the pretest and posttest of the achievement from the use of learning management package based on Sappurisa-dhamma of the undergraduate students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College; and 3) to study the opinions of the undergraduate students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College towards the development of a learning management manual based on Sappurisa-dhamma.
The study applied a qualitative method by means of pre-experimental research with a population of 20 monks. The research instruments consisted of learning management manual, pretest and posttest, and satisfaction assessment form. The acquired data were analyzed by mean, percentage, standard deviation (S.D.), and t-test.
The results of the research are as follows:
1) The results from the development of learning package on the learning management based on Sappurisa-dhamma for the achievement of the undergraduate students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College, it is found that the efficiency of E1/E2 is equal to 85/87.50 which is according to the efficiency criterion of 80/80.
2) The results from comparing the learning achievement after the use of learning management package based on Sappurisa-dhamma for the achievement of the undergraduate students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College, it is found that pretest has a mean (x̄) equal to 26 with a standard deviation (S.D.) at 1.87. While the posttest has a mean (x̄) equal to 35 with a standard deviation (S.D.) at 2.21 and t-test of -16.22. The posttest has a higher score than the pretest with a statistical significance of 0.05 level.
3) From studying the opinions of students towards the learning package on the learning management based on Sappurisa-dhamma for the achievement of undergraduate students at Suphanburi Sri Suvarnabhumi Buddhist College, it is found that overall students have satisfaction at a high level (x̄=4.18, S.D. = 0.79) which is according to the assumption set.
