Abstract:
This research study aims to study the work motivation that affects the loyalty to the organization of academic personnel at the Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. The data were collected from 288 academic personnel by using a questionnaire. With descriptive statistical analysis, the data were analyzed through the means of the distribution of Frequency, Mean, Percent, and Standard Deviation. To test the hypotheses, multiple regression analysis was employed as inferential statistics.
The study results found that the work motivation that affects the loyalty to the organization of academic personnel the most is the need for power, followed by the need for affiliation and the need for achievement, respectively. The statistical hypothesis test revealed that the work motivation on the need of achievement, need of affiliation, and need of power positively affects the academic personnel's loyalty to the organization of the Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, with a statistical significance at the 0.01 level. All independent variables can cooperatively predict work motivation by 59.50% (AdjR2 = 0.595).
