Abstract:
Receiver can understand and receive information from someone by using media for taking
information to them. In society it has many media for communicating and it has one media
thats people like to use it for a long time is television that can show both of pictures and
sound. At present, television has developed about transmitting from analog system to digital
system that makes both of pictures and sounds are more clearly and it has many channels
around 48 channels. It is new choice of receiver. Meanwhile it has new media in society
such as social network, internet, website or application on mobile phone that is new
presenting and new tools for using. It can make people to choose new media for them and
can watching television program. New media thats social network became competitor of
digital television. Media Exposure of each generation is one of study about behavior of
receiver to media, and it has effect to choosing television program and receives information
of each generation such as media exposure time, frequency of using media and their desire
especially generation Y has many people. The aim of study is presented about relation of
digital television and media explorer of each generation to know about information, and
using media that they want including desire of generation Y. It is guideline of mass media
development in Thailand.
