Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to evaluate the Doctor of Medicine Prgrame B.E.2549 at Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University by using CIPP Evaluation Model which included context, input, process and product. The 175 samples were stratified random sampling from 327 person of 1) expertise and program administrators 2) lecturers and special teachers 3) students and graduates in 2012 4) graduates employers by using Krejcie and Morgan table for determining sample size. The research instruments were considered by Burapha Universitys Ethics Committee, it consisted of the a document analyze, questionnaire and semi-construction question for interview, statistics including frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis were used for data analysis. It revealed that ; 1. Context evaluation found that the perspective of all groups were appropriate and satisfied more than minimum criteria and in high level, especially in content of subjects, fundamental of curriculum and purpose of curriculum. In structure of curriculum, and study showed that have too many credits and learning plan should be reduce theoretical in sixth year of clinical level and increase practical learning more. 2. Input evaluation found that the perspective of all groups were appropriate and satisfied more than minimum criteria and in high level, especially in lecturer factor, On the contrary, in student factor should developing interpersonal skill and responsibility because of some students lack of these skills affected to achievement of their learning and drop out. 3. Process evaluation found that the perspective of all groups were appropriate and satisfied more than minimum criteria and in high level, especially in curriculum evaluation. By the way, the lecturer evaluation should develop the reliable lecturer evaluation system for improving by themselves. Moreover, the faculty should be developed variety of learning process for enhance cognitive domain and critical thinking skill of the medical students. 4. Product evaluation found that the perspective of all groups were appropriate and satisfied more than minimum criteria and in high level, especially in efficiency of curriculum by all of graduates had pass the National License of Medicine 100% and satisfaction of the graduates employers were in high level, especially in ethics. In conclusion, finding of A Curriculum Evaluation of the B.E.2549 in Doctor of Medicine Program at Faculty of Medicine, Burapha University showed that all groups were appropriate and satisfied more than minimum criteria at high level in all aspects.
