Characteristics of Administrators as Perceived by Primary School Teachers in Mueang Samut Sakhon District under Samut Sakhon Primary Education Service Area Office
Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) to study the characteristics of administrators as perceived by primary school teachers in Mueang Samut Sakhon District Under Samut Sakhon Primary Education Service Area Office, 2) to compare the characteristics of administrators as perceived by primary school teachers as classified by gender, educational background, work experience and school size. The sample group was 295 primary school teachers in Mueang Samut Sakhon District. The 5 rating scale questionnaires which the reliability was .84 were used to collect data. The Statistic used in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA and compare the differences by pairs using Scheffe's method.The results of the research found that 1) the characteristics of administrators as perceived by primary school teachers in Mueang Samut Sakhon District Under Samut Sakhon Primary Education Service Area Office in overall and each aspect were at high level, in orderly. Leadership, intellectual ability, morality and ethics, responsibility, human relations and technological capabilities, respectively, 2) the comparison of the characteristics of administrators as perceived by primary school teachers as classified by genders and work experience in overall and each aspects were not difference but the educational levels and school sizes in overall were different. with statistical significance at .05 level."
