Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to (1) evaluate Agricultural Potential Land Class (APLC) (2) evaluate suitable land used in Phetchaburi province and (3) plan agricultural land used resource management in Phetchaburi province. Evaluation Agricultural Potential land by determining 4 Agricultural Potential Land criterias including (1) Elevation (2) Soil Order (3) Irrigation System and (4) Soil Moisture Regime into 4 weighting scale which were 5, 4, 3 and 2 respectively. The results showed that suitable land used in Phetchaburi province were Natural Conserve (NC) 1.504 (40.6%), Biomass Plant (BP) 0.759 (19.7%), Economic Forest (EF) 0.596 (15.4%), Sufficient Farming (SF) 0.405 (10.5%), Urban and Industrials (U&I) 0.339 (8.8%) and Commercial Farming (CF) 0.194 (5.0%) million rais, respectively. The Agricultural Land resource Management planning in Phetchaburi province were classified into 3 plans including (1) reducing commercial farming which was over potential land use into sufficient farming (2) increasing biomass plant and economic forest areas and (3) controlling urban and industrials and natural conserves.
