Abstract:
The purposes of this research are 1) to study the using of Nipa Palm Fiber with the intellect of weaving from Angtei community, Thatakieb, Chachoengsao, 2) to test the Nipa Palm Fiber to be guidance in products development, and 3) to design for general use and decoration process. The sample groups are the academic, traders, and product s interested with the amount of 106. The research tools are evaluation form. The research statistics are percentage, mean and standard deviation. The result revealed that the Product design of general use and decoration from Nipa Palm Fiber with the intellect of weaving from Angtei community, Thatakieb, Chachoengsao consist of 3 parts as follow; part 1, studying the useful and test to take Nipa Palm Fiber apply with the intellect of weaving from Angtei community. From survey and interview some trader and supplier, the results are 2 types, which are fiber processing and printed of fiber. Part 2, target behavior analysis to buy Angteis product found that the most they are interested in pattern of bags product about 40 percentage, the backpack is 12 percentage, the hand bag is 9, the school bag is 8 percentage, the pleated bag is 7 percentage, and the tote bag is 7 percentage. The satisfaction to color are as follow; the most is warm color with orange in 42 percentage, 38 percentage of green color. Part 3, the interested person in product satisfaction analysis were 3 parts as follow; 1) endemic nature, 2) useful weave, and 3) beauty, the factor total average is high level (x̄= 4.31).
