Preliminary study of quantitative and modelling for PM2.5 determination in Ratchaburi province
Abstract:
According to a PM2.5 problems in Ratchaburi province has a high value on a period that brought up to human
health effects. The PM2.5 and other pollutant were collected as a data to announce for people is important. In this work, pollutants data were collected in Ratchaburi and made mathematical modeling that showed the relationship between the
PM2.5 with other air pollutants that were monitoring by Pollution Control Department (PCD) as carbon dioxide (CO), sulphur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3) and PM10. The 2-kind of mathematical modeling are 1) the
modeling of the PM2.5 and related pollutants in high PM2.5 periods (January February, 2019) and 2) the modeling of PM2.5 and related pollutants after high PM2.5 periods (April May, 2019). The result showed the PM2.5 and PM10 were related and used as the model for prediction. The accuracy test by mean absolute percentage error or MAPE showed
that modeling after high PM2.5 periods is achievable. The MAPE value is about 0.05% that means this modeling could be used to predict or determine the quantitative from the relationship of the PM2.5 and the PM10 in 2019. The modeling was tested in 2020 and 2021 as the same periods showed the results are different that compared with 2019 in high PM2.5 periods. In these models were focused on the PM2.5 with PM10 relation from the result
