Concordance of Development Plans and Efficiency Economy Principles in Administration and Management Undertaken by the Local Administration Organization in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province
Abstract:
This research aims to (1) study the concordance of local administration development plans based on Sufficiency Economy Principles in administration and management in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. (2) Study the factors that influence local administration development plans based on Sufficiency Economy Principles in administration and management in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. (3) Study the implementation of local administration development plans based on Sufficiency Economy Principles in administration and management in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province.
The samples of the study were 7 local administration leaders in Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province. 35 people were selected from a total population of 374 people by using purposive sampling. The instruments used for data collection consisted of structured interview, non-participation observation, and question-nares using content analysis and descriptive statistics including percentage, average, and standard deviation. The results showed that: (1) local administration development plans were consistent with the Sufficiency Economy Principles in administration and management. The intervention method in development strategy had the concordance at a high level. The highest average was the knowledge condition and the lowest average was the self-immunity. (2) Factors affecting the development plans of local administration in accordance with the Principles of Sufficiency Economy included the participation of public, leadership skills, the area, the local environment and local problem conditions were the major variables while the factor relating the accreditation was the minor variable. (3) The methods implemented according to local administration development plans based on Sufficiency Economy Principles in administration and management revealed that the moderation practice and knowledge condition had been implemented at a high level. Meanwhile, the implementation of self-immunity was the lowest.
