Value Adding and Development Style of Product Distribution of Rice Mills Group at Baan Hua Dong, Phrasao Sub-District, Mahachanachai District, Yasothorn Province
Abstract:
This research aims to studying the problem of value adding from rice and develop product distribution of Baan Hua Dong rice mill. And to value adding from rice and develop distribution channels of Baan Hua Dong rice mill in Phrasao Sub-District, Maha Chanachai District, Yasothon. The target group included 20 people from rice mills in Baan Hua Dong. The tools used to collect data were: in-depth interviews, group discussion, join the community, informal interviews and observations. The research findings were as follows: 1) The problem of encountered sometimes, some rice obtained from milling the rice seeds will be broken and unappealing resulting in unsold price and problem of product distribution of Baan Hua Dong rice mill was found that 1.1) Products could only be sold in community welfare stores. 1.2) The product was not very well known. 1.3) The group did not have any distribution channels other than the consignment store in the community and 1.4) The group did not know how to sell products through online media or digital media, because the products of the group were new products that were not available in the community and nearby areas and 2) Adding value and distribution channels of Baan Hua Dong rice mill were as follows: 2.1) The group had more knowledge about how to sell products. 2.2) Group had a place to sell products. 2.3) The group had a network to assist in the distribution of the group. 2.4) The Group had a variety of distribution channels and 2.5) The groups had branded the products and had online marketing channels, using the channels of the modern era, such as Line and Facebook, to stimulate consumer awareness and reach. Baan Hua Dong rice mills had developed a method of selling products using a Facebook method. Khao Taen by Baan Hua Dong Housewife Group to promote groups and the products.
