Abstract:
The purposes of the this research study were: to study the problems, to examine knowledge domains, and to find guidelines for managing Ban Bua Herb Community Enterprise group in Ban Bua sub-district, Muang district, Buriram province. The data were collected through relevant documents, In-depth interviews, and group discussions. The study revealed that Ban Bua Herb group is encountering 3 problems: 1) Marketing, 2) Group Management, and 3) Public Relation. For the groups knowledge domains, there are 3 aspects: 1) Knowledge Gained from Study Tours, 2) Knowledge of Being Trained, and 3) Group Management Knowledge. All of these are crucial potentials in running the business to success. The findings of this study presented 3 guidelines for managing this community enterprise group. There were: 1) Participation in Managing Community Enterprise Group, 2) Adding Market Channels, and 3) Methods of Goods and Products Development. These guidelines will help improving this group management and generate good relation among members and future customers.
