The instruments used in this research was the measurements of 4-alternative with 30 items of Desirable Characteristics on Discipline based on situation. The statistics used for analyze the data were mean, percentage, formula of Pearsons Correlation Coefficient and formula of Cronbachs Alpha Coefficient. The Results of research were as follows: 1.The construction of the Desirable Characteristics scale on Discipline for grade first students of Secondary schools was the 30 items measurements based on the situation with 4-alternative; 10 items for the aspect following the rules of the family, school and society, 6 items for the aspect of regarding the rights of others, 5 items for aspect of the timeliness of activities, 4 items for the aspect of accepting the results of oneself and 5 items for the performances of duties. 2.The quality scale of Desirable Characteristics on Discipline was the discrimination between 0.22 to 0.64, in whole the reliability of 0.82. The accuracy of structural value b from 0.16 to 0.64. The t-value from 2.72 to 9.40 R-square values between 0.04 to 0.42 values of 1.25 to 43.79. P-value was 0.08 to 0.56 GFI value 0.97 to 1.00 AGFI value of 0.95 to 0.99. RMR value was 0.023 to 0.033. RMSEA value was 0.00 and 0.49.and /df was 0.63 to 1.72 Show that scale of Desirable Characteristics to Discipline had accuracy of structural. 3. Evaluation criteria for the measurements are divided into 3 levels which were excellent, good and needs improvement. The findings of the Desirable Characteristics on Discipline of grade first students from Secondary schools was at the level ofimprovement to excellent degree. The most of students at the amount of 243 or 60 percent of them had the Desirable Characteristics on Discipline at the good.
