Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study: 1) the factor analysis of teachers innovative leadership in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office, and 2) the guidelines on supporting teachers innovative leadership in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office.
The sample group of this research, selected using stratified random sampling, consisted of 359 teachers in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office. The research instrument was a 5-point Likert scale questionnaires (reliability = 0.97). The data were analyzed using Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), Principal Components Analysis (PCA) with orthogonal varimax rotation, and content analysis.
The research results revealed that 1) the teachers innovative leadership in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office consisted of four components: (1) change creativity, (2) risk-taking, (3) vision, and (4) cooperation. The teachers innovative leadership in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office could be explained by the components at 66.35%. 2) The guidelines on supporting the teachers innovative leadership in schools under Pathum Thani Primary Educational Service Area Office were as follows: (1) the change in creativity component included creative thinking, brainstorming, planning and initiating innovations and activities; (2) the risk-taking component included being assertive, empowering teachers management and being open-minded; (3) the vision component included organizing work tasks, goal setting, knowledge sharing, being determined, being enthusiastic, and being a good role model; and (4) the corporation component included permitting the freedom of thought, making an agreement, establishing core values, and creating relationship activities.
