Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) survey electronic conferencing through the platform among employees, 2) analyze the confirmatory factors of the causal relationship model for acceptance of electronic conferencing technology among employees, and 3) develop a causal relationship model for acceptance of electronic conferencing technology among employees in the manufacturing industry, Chonburi Province, and 4) examine goodness of fit between the developed causal relationship model for acceptance of electronic conferencing technology among employees in the manufacturing industry, Chonburi Province, and the empirical data based on a quantitative research. The samples included 371 employees in the manufacturing industry, Chonburi Province. The statistics used were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, confirmatory factor analysis, and the causal relationship model. The findings revealed that 1) most respondents used the platform called Microsoft teams. 2) Goodness of fit was found from the confirmatory factors of endogenous and exogenous variables of the developed causal relationship model. 3) Goodness of fit was found from the developed causal relationship model for acceptance of electronic conferencing technology among employees in the manufacturing industry, Chonburi Province. And 4) the cause variables with highest effects on real usage behavior included behavioral intention, followed by perceived ease of use, perceived benefits, attitudes, and external factors, respectively. The causal factors in the model could describe the variation of real usage behavior at 31.7%.
