Abstract:
This research aimed to compare the motivation among the users of the fitness center, a
case study of Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. The samples consist
of 424 users of the fitness center located in Nakhon Ratchasima Municipality. Questionnaire was
employed as a tool for data collection, the results were analyzed by distributing frequency,
percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The hypothesis was tested by Independent Sample t-test,
One-way analysis of variance and multiple Comparisons by scheffe's method. The results indicated
that users with different personal factors, which are: access to the fitness center; the duration of
each use of the service; time to use the fitness center; and payment method for services for the gym
have different motives for using the fitness center was different at the statistical significance level
of 0.05. On the other hand, users with different personal factors in gender, age, education level,
average monthly income have indifferent motives for using the fitness center.
