Abstract:
Supporting care for workers with disorder depression needs systematic care. Therefore, it will make the most of helping and taking care of workers with depression in the workplace. This study was qualitative descriptive research to study problem conditions. Factors affecting the management of depression And to develop a model for managing labor depression in establishments in the Eastern Economic Corridor The informants in this study were individuals with stakeholders from both the government and the public sector. The private sector in the Eastern Economic Corridor area is Chonburi, Rayong and Chachoengsao provinces of 28 people. And in-depth interviews Data were analyzed by core analysis (Miles, Huberman & Saldana, 2014).
The results of the study of conditions, problems, management of labor depression. including: 1) vacuum - lack of connection, 2) hidden with work, and 3) we have to help ourselves. Informants addressed three factors affecting the management of depression in the workplace: 1) attitudes and beliefs about depression 2) knowledge and skills 3) size, environmental characteristics. And welfare of the establishment and 4) the policy of the establishment and related agencies. The labor depression management model in the establishment of the Eastern Economic Corridor consists of 1) integration of policy-building cooperation, 2) human resource policy, 3) building culture of the establishment, and 4) development. The ongoing work process of the establishment for the care of depressed employees. Including risk assessment planning to promote attitudes / beliefs, build up Upskill-Reskill skill. Including empowering employees and creative care, provide program to assist employees in the workplace. These findings can apply a model for managing labor depression in the workplace.
