Abstract: การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ภาพสะท้อนสังคมชาวประมงในนวนิยายของประชาคม ลุนาชัย และปัญหาและแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาสังคมชาวประมงในนวนิยายของ ประชาคม ลุนาชัย โดยศึกษานวนิยาย จำนวน 6 เล่ม และนำเสนอผลการวิจัยแบบพรรณนาวิเคราะห์ (Descriptive Analysis)ผลการวิจัยพบว่า นวนิยายของ ประชาคม ลุนาชัย สะท้อนให้เห็นสภาพสังคมชาวประมงใน 4 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ด้านชีวิตความเป็นอยู่ คือ ชีวิตบนเรือมีที่อยู่ที่นอนที่เล็กแคบ แต่มีอาหารการกินที่อุดมสมบูรณ์ การแต่งกายเรียบง่ายสะดวกต่อการทำประมง และมีอุปกรณ์สื่อสารบนเรือที่ครบถ้วน ชีวิตบนฝั่งมีบ้านตั้งอยู่ใกล้ริมฝั่งทะเล บ้านเรือนทำด้วยไม้ กินอาหารสำเร็จที่ซื้อได้สะดวกตามร้าน นิยมสวมใส่เสื้อผ้าที่สวยงาม และเดินทางด้วยรถสองแถว รถจักรยานยนต์เป็นหลัก 2) ด้านความสัมพันธ์ของคนในสังคมชาวประมง ทั้งคนในครอบครัว หัวหน้ากับลูกน้อง เพื่อน มีความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีและไม่ดีต่อกัน 3) ด้านคุณธรรม ชาวประมงมีความกตัญญู ขยัน อดทน มีน้ำใจ และพอเพียง 4) ด้านวัฒนธรรมไทย ชาวประมงนับถือศาสนาพุทธ มีความเชื่อเรื่องแม่ย่านาง พระเครื่อง วิญญาณ มีประเพณีลอยกระทง และขนบธรรมเนียมในการจัดงานแต่งงานส่วนปัญหาของสังคมชาวประมงในนวนิยาย มี 7 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ปัญหาครอบครัว คือ ความรุนแรง สามีไม่มีรายได้ให้ครอบครัว และการมีชู้ 2) ปัญหาความยากจน คือ การมีรายได้ต่ำและภาวะหนี้สิน 3) ปัญหาอาชญากรรม คือ ยาเสพติด การพนัน การทำร้ายร่างกาย และการฆ่าคน 4) ปัญหาความเหลื่อมล้ำ คือ การเอาเปรียบ และการดูถูก 5) ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม คือ ภัยธรรมชาติ การทำลายระบบนิเวศ 6) ปัญหาการทำประมง คือ การเดินเรือผิดกฎหมาย จับปลาในพื้นที่หวงห้าม และการจับปลาผิดวิธี 7) ปัญหาสุขภาพ คือ โรคเอดส์ หนองใน ตับอักเสบ ส่วนแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาพบว่า การแก้ไขปัญหาครอบครัวโดยภรรยาหารายได้เพิ่มด้วยการขายอาหารเพื่อเลี้ยงดูครอบครัว และสามีหย่ากับภรรยาที่มีชู้ การแก้ไขปัญหาความยากจนโดยชาวประมงทำการค้าขายเสริมรายได้ การแก้ไขปัญหาอาชญากรรมโดยผู้นำได้ตั้งกฎระเบียบบนเรือ และผู้ที่ติดยาเสพติดเลิกยาด้วยตัวเอง การแก้ไขปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อมโดยทำตามประกาศของกรมอุตุนิยมวิทยา การแก้ไขปัญหาการทำประมงผิดกฎหมายโดยรัฐบาลไทยช่วยเหลือให้มีการขอสัมปทานที่ถูกต้อง การแก้ไขปัญหาสุขภาพโดยการไปหาหมอรักษา ทั้งนี้ไม่พบแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหาความเหลื่อมล้ำในสังคมโดยให้ผู้อ่านไปขบคิดต่อเอง

Abstract: This research aimed to analyze reflections of the society of fishermen, focusing on its problems and solutions, in six novels of Prachakom Lunachai. Research findings were reported as a descriptive analysis.Four aspects of society of fishermen were found in the studied novels, as the following. 1) Ways of life – the living on fishing ships was limited in space, yet food was plenty; only simple clothes suitable for fishing were required; and communication equipment was supported. While on land, most fishermen lived in wooden houses near the shore; ate ready meals bought from shops; dressed colorful clothes; and traveled by mini buses or motorcycles. 2) Relationships – there were both friends and enemies, between family members and employers and employees, among people in communities. 3) Moral – most fishermen regarded gratefulness, diligence, tolerance, compassion, and the self-sufficient principle. 4) Culture – most fishermen were Buddhists, yet beliefs relating to the goddess of barges, amulets, spirits were also found. Traditions of Loy Kratong and dealing with the wedding were also practiced. For social problems of the fishermen, the novels reflected in seven areas, as the following. 1) Family problems, caused by violence, Husband does not raise a family and infidelity. 2) Poverty, caused by the low income and debts. 3) Crime, caused by drugs; gambling; personal attacks; and murders. 4) Economic differences caused insults and chances of taking advantages. 5) Environmental problems, caused by natural disasters and ecology harms. 6) Fishing laws, including areas; methods; and equipment of fishing. 7). Personal health, caused by some diseases like Aids; Gonorrhea; and Hepatitis. The studied novels suggested some solutions for the stated problems, including For the problem of family, wife selling food to support a family, divorce. working extra jobs, like selling goods, to solve the poverty problem. For the problem of crime, rigid rules on board should be set. Related governmental offices should support the fishermen about fishing concessions and weather forecast. For problems of drugs and health, the individuals should be responsible for. Lastly, for economic differences were not found any suggested solutions.
