Abstract:
This research aimed to develop an effective computer-assisted learning program in the physics entitled "Nuclear Physics" for Mathayom Suksa 6 in the Senior-High Curriculum B.E. 2524 ( B.E. 2533 Revised Edition ), to study the effectiveness index, and to study a learning retention and opinions about the use of the computer-assisted learning program of 50 students attending Mattayom Wanonniwat School , selected by using the purposive sampling technique. The experiment took 4 days, each of 3 hours in the second semester of B.E. 2544. The instruments used were the computer-assisted learning program, the learning achievement test, and the questionnaire. The collected data were subsequently analyzed by means of percentage, mean and standard deviation. The research results were as follows:1. The computer-assisted learning program had an effectiveness at a rather good level or an effectiveness of 88% and the effectiveness index of 0.83.2. After 6 weeks of learning, the students indicated their retention knowledge reduced at 18.73 %. The students showed their opinions about the use of the computer-assisted learning at a highly satisfactory level. Therefore, the developed computer-assisted learning program in physics entitled "Nuclear Physics" should be implemented effectively in promoting required learning outcomes.
