Abstract:
The objective of this research is to study the interaction of Baan Krua community members, the characteristic and factors leading to communitys ties, attachment and involvement, including the communication strategies of leaders for setting the dispute over the CD road. Research methodology are documentary research, field research, observation, In-depth interview and focus group. The target group consist of 20 representatives from the ad-hoc committee, community board and Baan Krua community. The finding of the research are as follows : The interaction of Baan Krua community members is two-way interpersonal communication ; which has, three levels : personal level - - greeting and chatting ; group level - - meeting and discussion ; and community level - - communication among complexity group. The characteristic of the community ties can be detected from the attachment of community members towards theirs community, mosque and cemetery. The activities which the community members regard as important and mostly participate in are religious, political and health activity community development, sport competition, including donation and meeting. The factors leading to communitys ties attachment and involvement are religious factor (Muslim), activities that reinforce community gatherings, initiate leaders and the social impact of the expressway case. The communication strategies used by Baan Krua community leaders in strengthening community include communication among members, initiating by activities, which calling for public involvement; religious principles to build unity ; academic and media cooperation to distribute communication stories at the national level.
