Occupational research and Developing state for well beging of biodiversity based toward sufficiency economy and royal project in Surin province of Thailand
Abstract:
Research and development of agriculture on the base of biodiversity based on the philosophy of the continent involved at the area along the Thai-Cambodian border, Surin province. The objective of this study were 1) to study the context and the capacity of communities to develop agricultural occupation, 2) to study the knowledge and technology that is critical to the development of farming, and 3) to find the appropriate model for the development model for the development of agricultural occupation in order to have an income increase. The research method for this study was in participatory research format with interview, group senimar and the stage meeting and the data was then complied, analyze and summarized the outcome.
The result found that:
1. The contexts and potential of study areas provided the overall information indicated that the area is an agricultural society with farming as the main occupation: the most popular cultivation is yearly rice production found suitable for farming in every sub district, It is thus necessary that concerned government agencies provide the farmers with proper knowledge regarding agricultural contexts and appropriate economy practices in order to improve the quality of their life.
2. Knowledge and technology in development of the agriculture were breeding technologies production cropping systems, including integrated farming. Technology products processing and packaging easily household level and technology of raising fish in water and rice fields.
3. Guidelines for the development of agricultural occupation to provide more revenue in the form of the following steps, the establishment of the committee, training for knowledge, educational trips out of place, supervision, monitoring and continuous improvement, and the establishment of the production group.
