Abstract:
This research aims to investigate the para rubber local market management and to analyze the knowledge of para rubber local market management in Surin province. Data were collected by survey, participation action observation, questionnaire and deep interview. The results showed as following:
For Surin Para rubber local market management, Surin province found Para rubber local market of 150 groups, but there was only 28 registered groups (calculated as 18.67%), which registered systematically and worked with office of Rubber Authority of Thailand, Surin province. It can be classified into 5 different types of market such as local market negotiation prices, auction local market, network market by government sectors, network market auction by groups and common market in percentage of 8.67, 6.00, 3.33, 0.67 and 81.33 of total Para rubber production, respectively. The problem of Para rubber market management were not successful and caused by 1) retailer who not confident of good quality 2) No Para rubber market committees within the groups 3) Not clear guideline for groups practice 4) Member of the group showed their own benefit 5) Less in member of Para rubber market group.
For analysis of knowledge management of Para rubber in Surin province showed that the local market management was successful in Para rubber group at office of Rubber Authority of Thailand, Surin province, Ban umprel, Moo 20 Bugdi sub-district, Phanom Domrak district, Head of Para rubber center Point in the group was Mrs.Sirisawas Sukprosob who used the concept of personal management efficiency to manage the group, by using meeting techniques to select the committee of the group member, in parallel with dividing of clear duty of all members in the groups. In addition, for management, group showed the set up the financial management, followed by the rules and the guideline of the group, while for the raw material management, group showed the advantages of area based processing, which has forest community and share benefit for the people use within the community. For the group management, groups set up the guideline and rules for the group to share the agreement of market management and to have meeting for all members to understand and to find the joint solution for making the right decision. Over all, it can set up the rules and conditions for service of sale of Para rubber in the group of office of Rubber Authority of Thailand, Surin province, Ban umprel, and can disseminate the handbook of Para rubber local market management, Surin province for alternative use of the group to set up the local Para rubber local market management
