Abstract:
The purposes of this study were to examine and compare a level of job satisfaction
among personnel working for an office section at Valeo Comfort and Driving Assistance System
(Thailand) Ltd. The data were collected via a questionnaire completed by 212 employees who
worked for an office section at Valeo Comfort and Driving Assistance System (Thailand)
Ltd. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency, percentage, mean,
standard deviation, and comparisons of means.
The results of the study revealed that the subjects level of satisfaction was at a
satisfactory level. When considering each aspect of satisfaction, the one in relation to work
achievement was rated the highest, followed by the one related to work environment, salary and
benefits, respectively. Finally, based on the results from the comparisons of job satisfaction as
classified by personal factors, it was shown that there were no statistically significant differences
in the level of job satisfaction among the subjects who had different age, amount of income, work
division, work length, and number of years prior to retirement.
