Public opinions toward work based on a facilitation act for granting official permission provided by an office of land, Si racha branch, Chon buri province
Abstract:
The purpose of this study was twofold. First, it aimed at examining public opinions
toward work based a facilitation act for granting official permission provided by employees
working for the Office of Land, Si ra cha branch, Chon Buri Province. Also, this study intended
to compare the public opinions toward service provided the Office of Land in Si ra cha
branch. The subjects participating in this study were 311 employees who were recruited by
Taro Yamanes formula. The instrument used to collect the data was a questionnaire, constructed
by this researcher. The statistical tests used to analyze the collected data included frequency,
percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and One-Way ANOVA. To test the differences
between pairs, the test of Scheffé was administered.
The results of this study revealed that the majority of the subjects who used
the service at the Office of Land had a monthly income of 30,000 baht and were employees
working for private companies. In general, they rated the work done by the employees at
the Office of Land based on the facilitation act for granting official permission at a good level.
Specifically, when considering each aspect of quality of work, the one in relation to work
transparency was rated at the highest level, followed by the aspects of fairness in giving services,
convenience, quickness of providing services, respectively. In addition, based on the results from
the comparisons of personal factors, it was shown that there was a statistically significant
difference in the level of opinions toward work based on the facilitation act for granting official
permission among the service users who had different amount of monthly incomes at a significant
level of .05. Finally, no statistically significant difference was found in the level of opinions
toward work based on the facilitation act for granting official permission among the service users who had different occupation.
